This would very likely have been part of a larger and more ornate panel. Musicians, such as Mozart or Beethoven were popular subjects at the time and this could possibly be Mozart. The white glass on the ruffled shirt is a higher height as a piece of clothing would be when wearing it. The coat's glass was molded to create creases. The first 2 photos shows this piece in a darkened room with a light behind it. The last photo shows the back side. There are 2 loops at the top for hanging. See less
