Our master upholsterer has outdone himself with these handsome Louis XV chairs. The backs feature a graceful pheasant on linen. The seat is upholstered in a matching burgundy colored velvet. The combination is rich and elegant.
The chair frame has carved floral embellishments on the crest and apron. The frame has been given a new antique white finish. The chairs are sound and sturdy. They show few signs of wear commensurate with their age. Most dealers would market these chairs as "like new" condition with the new upholstery and lacquer.
They measure 42 inches tall at the crest, and the seats are 19 inches high from the floor. The chairs are 21 inches wide and 20 inches deep.
