A beautiful set of four (4) French Limoges plates with green and gold accents, circa late 19th century, France, Europe.
Offering a set of Limoges porcelain white and green plates with a gold hand painted detail, originally from France. Set includes: 4 Salad Plates at 7.25". Limoges is a globally recognized brand for quality and beautiful home entertaining pieces and these plates are part of the large inventory of Limoges stand out tabletop pieces, suitable for use at family events.
Rim is edged in hand painted gold leaf in Art Nouveau raised relief design. Green highlights adorn the plate and create the illusion of scalloped design. Piece can be used for entertaining as salad plates, serving hors d'oeuvres, petit fours, or bread and butter plates. Displays beautifully for a table setting, indoors or out. With makers' mark "CFH" for Charles Fields Haviland and "France" on reverse. Piece would make a nice gift.
