Documented to the Seguso … Read more Beautiful and rare Murano hand blown controlled bubbles in clear Italian art glass conch seashell sculpture. Documented to the Seguso Vetri d'Arte company, model # 17503. It is published in the Seguso Vetri d'Arte online catalog and reference books (see the 3rd photo). The shell is created in the "Bullicante" technique, with hundreds of bubbles throughout. It also has a very realistic design, with the curled end having the spiky decoration many shells have. It is made with heavy glass. Would make a great decorative piece for any desk, coffee table or credenza. Display it as a sculpture, or could even be used as a vase. The previous owner probably did this, as it has some cloudiness on the inside. Please see last photo. Art Deco, Mid-century era. Collectors item! Measurements: 8 1/4" long x 5 1/4" wide x 6" tall.
