Very unusual Edwardian period metamorphic Beau Brummell Oak Accent Side Table, the top in two parts (flaps) that lift raising a stationery box and revealing a gilt embossed leather writing surface (that opens on hinges to reveal a red moire silk padded storage well, the sides of the flaps with leather fittings for pens and storage. A perfect writing table that hides away!
