A … Read more A substantial pair of well-made English silver plate florist or rose scissors shears, by Sheffield, England., circa late-19th century. A beautiful pair of (intended) rose shears; they're made to hold the stem in their grip after cutting with a hinged action. There is a bend in the shaft, between the finger holes and the cutter, for easy work between tight branches. They may be used as grape/fruit shears as well, and equally perfect for working/cutting the garden or for interior floral arranging. Beautiful decorative detail as shown. English hallmarks as shown in last two images. Excellent condition as shown in images with beautiful silver-plate presence. Item would also made a nice gift. Dimensions: 6.63" Long. See less
