Mark Rothko ( 1903 - 1970 ) is an American Modernist painter of Russian Jewish descent. Although Rothko himself refused to adhere to any art movement, he is generally defined as an Abstract Expressionist. His bold use of color fields make the artworks impressively iconic and highly individual. Rothko is considered to be one of the most important and influential American painters of The Twentieth Century. Artworks by Rothko are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.

The rare out of print framed Abstract Expressionist poster print measures 24 3/4" W X 32 3/4" H X 7/8" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglas in a Contemporary Modern avocado olive green matte eggshell finish wood frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse bak side for easy wall installation.

It is in excellent " like new " condition. The poster print is in excellent " like new " very clean condition consistent with age and very light signs of handling.
