These Victorian glass pickle jars are part of a collection of old stock that was found in an abandoned barn in Belgium. Sent to troops on the front in WWI, supposedly each jar held a single pickle. Imprinted with Bairds Pickles Glasgow on the sides of the hexagonal blue-green jars. Flaws and imperfections, bubbles created in the manufacturing process, some with minor cracks, all a result of 100+ years of a utilitarian item.
