We are selling this very high quality pair of French Chenet Andirons. These andirons have nice large figures of cherubs or putti draped in cloaks. The bronze figures are very well finished and executed and are posed in front of traditional rococo scrolls. The chenets appear to be circa 1900, they may be 18th century based on the quality of the bronze figures.
Condition: Good condition with some surface patination and wear to the gilding. Some denting/bending to the bronze due to the heavy nature of the chenets.
