Dimensions: 14” H x 19” W x ½ ” D
Generous in scale, this 19th century ceramic platter from England is decorated with a fashionable blue and white transfer pattern, consistent with the period. The cartouche shape is framed by exotic floral blooms along the wide rim, an octagonal central image depicts an imaginary subtropical riverbank with palm trees, camels and an amalgamation of architectural styles.
