An absolutely beautiful antique silver-plate table crumb, butler’s tray. The basin is hand engraved with a moire style background and intricate leaves in the center and surrounding the edge. This is a very fine quality, well made piece with a lovely aged patina. It is signed by the maker Homan Manufacturing Company. The firm was founded in Cincinnati in 1847 by Henry Homan and Asa F. Flagg under the name Flagg & Homan. Beginning in 1904 it operated as Homan Manufacturing Company until it went out of business in 1941. The blank center medallion is perfect for adding a monogram making it a unique gift for someone special.
In very good antique condition given age and use. Aged patina and surface scratches.
