Legs with stretchers are also accented with paint. Ladder/thumbtack back, single plank seat. Iconic example of American folk art furniture with lovely character and patina.

In good antique condition considering age and history. Zoom in on photos to see any imperfections including surface damage in places to the painted finish and the wood- especially on the second rung on the back, the top of the top rung, and the rim/surface of the seat. There is a small wood patch on the back section of the seat. Also, one stretcher needs to be secured more tightly. All imperfections add to the authentic character of this antique chair. See less
