Antique French brass repose beveled mirror over board. The frame has a classic French repoussé style, featuring intricate floral and scrollwork patterns and a heraldic escutcheon shield at pentacle of the frame. The design reflects Baroque and Rococo influence.
The mirror shows signs of desilvering around the edges. This is common in antique mirrors exposed to moisture or age-related degradation, adding character and authenticity to the piece.
