C.1991-97; Vintage Fitz & Floyd, "Shagreen" patterned, dessert, salad, and/or canapés dishes in a sophisticated blue lapis with gold color … Read more C.1991-97; Vintage Fitz & Floyd, "Shagreen" patterned, dessert, salad, and/or canapés dishes in a sophisticated blue lapis with gold color trim combination, as well as a thinner black lined adjacent to gold prettier trim, as well as adjacent to inner white porcelain face. There are a set of 12 of these lovely porcelain dishes. This particular pattern is no longer in production. The beauty of this pattern is that it is a raised relief shagreen print, tactile along with depth to these plates. If someone already has this pattern and want to build on it, or replace broken or chipped pieces, then it is the perfect addition. Also this pattern and coloration, is such, that it can be a counterpoint towards, any eclectic tree and/or addition to a dinner table setting, with white on gold, and a pop of serene blue and gold, almost measurable the combination of interchangeable possibilities. Maker's markings on the reverse underside, stating, "Fitz & Floyd," above that with the pattern name, Shagreen, below maker's markings Fine Porcelain, with provenance country of manufacture, including a pattern number, all the dishes have the same number.
