Alternating panels feature frosted/etched floral decoration and richly colored amber, gold and deep red reverse-painted borders surrounding scenic architectural and landscape views. The ornate metal frame has elaborate applied and cast decorative elements around the upper edge and retains an appealing dark, aged surface and patina.


One of the scenic glass panels is hinged and opens as a door, presumably providing access to the interior. The lantern also retains its hanging chain assembly.


A striking architectural lighting fixture with lots of character and an unusually decorative combination of scenic reverse-painted glass and etched floral panels.

Very nice antique estate condition overall with age-appropriate wear, oxidation, finish loss and patina to the metal frame. Glass shows expected signs of age and use. Please examine all photographs carefully as they are an important part of the condition description.
