Featuring a heavily shaped, stylized and scrolled inkstand tray with open handle to each end. Flanking the two inkwells with enameled bodies that raise from the beautiful decorated polychrome Champlevé enameled tray, behind two solid bronze pen rest elements that raise up to hold the matching enameled solid bronze drip pen. Open the inkwells hinged enameled lids with finial to reveal the original glass inserts remain. The stunning ornate enameling continues on the rocker blotter.

The rare Art Nouveau Moderne period antique desk set, circa 1880s. shows influence from Moorish, Arabesque Moroccan and Oriental cloisonne taste. Taking inspiration from a range of styles and periods, beautiful in its final execution. A nicely aged, warm verdigris patina adds to the character and charm of this one-of-a-kind objet d'art.
