Beautiful, mid-century, vintage, bar cart/trolley from France, on multi-directional wheels, with two formica trays, that have a ''faux rosewood'' effect … Read more Beautiful, mid-century, vintage, bar cart/trolley from France, on multi-directional wheels, with two formica trays, that have a ''faux rosewood'' effect with a glossy finish, brass edging, gilded décor, and a bar that lifts up and down, to hold/secure bottles, from the 1960's.

Piece is in very good, original and vintage condition, with light marks, signs of age, some faded areas of color and previous use commensurate with time on the overall structure/body, handle, trays (see photos with a 1 centime coin), rounded edges, legs and wheels, but nothing that takes away from its sheer coolness of it design, beauty, or functionality (see multiple photos.)

The overall patina, also has light signs of age and previous use consistent with time, but remains shiny and makes the cart really pop, in contrast with the darker, warm brown colors of the formica trays (see photos.)

Both the top and bottom trays have a nice patina of time on the pale-gold, brass edging. The top tray also has some additional, gilded brass décor above the edging, which makes it convenient to place glasses, or whatever else one wishes. The bottom tray has a bar that lifts up and down, as well as two strips of brass, so one can place, then secure bottles. Both the top and bottom trays have 2, circular, gold-colored brass pieces of decor, that add a nice touch of contrast to the overall effect of the design (see photos.)

The piece has been only gently dusted and polished with respect to the original patina of time (see photos.)

Cart is fairly lightweight and easy to move around to wherever one would like to use it: in a dining room, den, living room, kitchen, patio or balcony. An added bonus; the cart can be folded and conveniently stored if needed (see photos.)

Perfect not only for larger spaces, but will also work well in a smaller apartment, loft space or outdoor bar.

A true conversation piece to be used as designed and intended,
that will stand out in any given space, be it mid-century, rustic contemporary, Hollywood Regency, et al.
