Mark Rothko ( 1903 - 1970 ) is an American Modernist painter of Russian Jewish descent. Although Rothko himself refused to adhere to ant art movement, he is generally defined as an Abstract Expressionist. His bold use of color fields make the artworks impressively iconic and highly individual. Rothko is considered to be one of the most important and influential American painters of The Twentieth Century. Art works by Rothko are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.

The rare out of print framed AbstracT Expressionist extra large format poster print measures 27" W X 52 1/2" H X 1" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern variegated natural oak tan light brown woodgrain style matte eggshell finish metal frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.

It is in excellent condition. The poster print is in excellent clean vintage condition consistent with age, light signs of handling, and some light minor wear.
