Unusual alabaster and hand-forged iron centerpiece attributed to Raymond Subes. The hand-carved stone in a honey/butterscotch tone with cognac and charcoal colored natural vein striations rests atop a finely executed decorative iron plinth with scroll design and faceted ball ends.
The coupe is further detailed with a nickeled bronze rim with stylized clips.
There are a few slight hairline fissures and natural veining due to the composition of the natural stone.
The base measures 16" long x 7" deep.
