Fine British Art Deco pattern of the peacock by the the moon. Arts and Crafts or Art Deco theme, a romantic design with Asian art roots and with brilliant color. English ceramic bowl from the early 20th century ( 1907- 1921 George Jones and Sons ) Art Nouveau and Chinoise influences merged to produce the design with a stylized peacock framed by the Lunar Disk in a twilight sky. The glaze is speckled and textured with a nice depth of color.
The size is 9.5" in diameter and 4.25" tall.
