Tightening of the frame is usually done at the same time they are being reupholstered. We recommend reupholstering with a worn out fun fabric to keep them stylishly distressed. Some cracks and scratches to the wood from use and age are common and add to the battered look. We will be happy to provide more closeup images at your request. less
