Artist: Josef Flejsar (hand signed)
About the artist: Josef Flejsar was a graphic designer and painter (May 28th 1922 Novy Bydzov - May 17th 2010). He studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, and after graduation he joined the Schlosser advertisement studio Schlosser. He created posters, book illustrations and design and participated in the design of international expositions (EXPO Brusel, EXPO Montreal).
About the International Folklore Festival : According to the official website of the festival, the International Folklore festival is happening year since 1946 in the City of Straznice in the Czech Republic. It is an occasion for to promote the folklore of this nation and others to the world. Each year, a winner is selected by a jury to give the honorific title of the Lauréat du Strážnice IFF and the Strážnice IFF Award.
