One of the sterling plaques is engraved with a number two, the other plaque is engraved to read:

In good condition, the ball shows lots of age and use. No major damage to the wood, but there are lots of very small surface marks and patina from its 140+ years. The two engraved plaques are sterling, but are unmarked for purity (as is often the case with these trophy balls).

The ball measures approximately 4.5 inches tall. See less
