Pair of “Expo Chair” arm less chairs by Christen Sorensen (1921-2015) manufactured by Danish designer Ebena LaSalle Furniture INC for the pavilions of the 1967 Montreal Expo. Especially designed for the Canadian’s world’s fair, Montreal Expo in 1967.
The chromed metal base supports a 360 degree swivel seat in white lacquered layered plywood frame, restored by professional craftsman and untouched original to the chairs upholstered split seat with purple fabric.
These two seats have a combination of aesthetics and comfort.
One of the seats on the underside retains manufacturer’s paper label.
