It is rendered in the Classic Shape - Form with Extensive Sponge Ware Decorated Features on a Glossy Glaze. It has No Maker or Other Markings. Back in the Day These Types of Stoneware Items were a Necessity in Most of Americas Farms and Household's and They were Made - Intended For Everyday Utilitarian Use. Jugs such as these were used to store a variety liquids such as Ciders - Vinegar - Liquors - Spirits Etc. It is in Excellent All Original Condition and it Displays Beautifully. No Damage - No Cracks - No Repairs. It Also Still Retains its Very Old - Most Likely Original Cork Stopper.
