We are beginning to offer some of our personal items as we start to scale back for retirement. While traveling in Italy many years ago, we visited Venice and the island of Murano. We bought many pieces of Murano glass and very much wanted a Seguso piece. We simply could not find the right piece in Venice and left thinking we would just have to do with the others we found. Then we spent a day in Naples and while in a small mom and pop shop we came across the gorgeous vase. And we were thrilled when we turned it over to find the Seguso sticker. We were drawn to the simple and clean lines. It’s time to let it go, but we will always cherish the time it spent gracing our home.
