In the external band two cupids are inserted between the volutes that are intertwined with crumpled acanthus leaves.

One frame in the cymatium bears a putto holding a galero, the other a putto holding a coat of arms. They are slightly different from each other.

Italy (Lombardy – Emilia), late 17th century – early 18th century

Excellent state of conservation. Original gilding.
