During the early and mid- 1960s, the famed atelier of Artes de México Internacionales in San Miguel de Allende represented the pinnacle of craftsmanship in making highest quality reproductions of Mexican Colonial Hacienda style furniture. Artisans made this from thick saddle grade leather and sabino pine wood. With decorative clavos. It is extremely sturdy and is a perfect complement to a Spanish, Mediterranean, or Arts & Crafts style house. These sturdy chairs are excellent for a dining room or living room. The patina of more than 50 years enhances the classic appearance. Some of the extremely thick leather bears cattle brand marks.
