The chair is styled on Marcel Breuer’s B32 ‘Cesca’ Chair, first designed in 1928 and features chrome-plated tubular steel frame with black coloured beech and cane back rest and black upholstered seat.

The chair is in good overall condition, but in keeping with its age, does show small signs of wear to the chrome, wood and the back rest does have one small break to the cane work, as pictured, but this does not effect its usage.

The Cesca chair is still exhibited in the Museum of Modern Art in New York. In the 50's Dino Gavina, a furniture manufacturer in Foligno, Italy, started making the chair with Breuer's permission. The name also changed; its namesake is Breuer's daughter Francesca, or Cesca. It was Dino who named the chair after her in 1968.
