an impressive object and a functional light source at the same time. The design is inspired by the british arts and crafts movement. The lamp body has a simple and functional shape. The square floor plan has a sloping roof with an overhang. Dormer-shaped openings are made all around the roof surfaces. These are visibly riveted to the roof. The walls have oval openings that are closed from the inside with yellow structural glass. A circular opening at the bottom allows direct light downwards, e.g. Onto a table. This is where atmospheric and functional light come together. The lantern hangs on a chain with a matching canopy.
the lamp is in very good condition with signs of wear and a wonderful patina. There is some rust and the original black paint is peeling a bit here and there.
