Very handsome form with open-worked pedistal having quatrefoil windows on four sides and outlined by inlaid copper and silver metals. with multiple ring bands on the pedistal. The plate design is the crane with a turtle motif representing long life. Designed in raised metal with gold and silver details. Both under a pine with silver needles and gold cones. After all that, the border is framed in a fine scrolling bat pattern with silver and copper metal inlay. Over-the-top Japanese work on all sides. Just Beautiful. The measurements are 12" in diameter and 4.25" tall. Heavy and balanced construction. No studio signatures are found on the base. See less
