Elegant and stately Chiavari chairs in the style of Gio Ponti. Brass with a gilt overlay. Tapered ladder back with a touch of Hollywood Regency with a cast foliate motif. Original velvet upholstery in a golden yellow hue. Rising on stretcher joined tapered supports. Simple and elegant. In great vintage condition. Some minor wear to velvet and brass consistent age. No tears or dents. Small drip mark on one chair. Sold as a pair.
