Chinese Blanc de Chine lidded archaic dragon bowl, a finely formed, heavy, lidded bowl with a peach finial and stepped lip, having a white glazed exterior, interior and inset base. The side of the bowl is decorated with four, finely carved, archaic dragons intertwining with thick, leafy vines amid stylized clouds, all in high relief and bracketed by narrow, double, convex trim accents. A pair of dragons are facing each other on one side of the bowl, flanking an altar table with a stylized Fu Bat above, the other pair of dragons, opposite, are facing away from each other, flanking a stylized lingzhi and artemisia leaves. The peach finial is encircled with stylized, pointed leaves. A Wang Bingrong mark in Zhuanshu script is carved to the inset base. The finely carved, traditional, Chinese hongmu stand is included. Circa Republic of China era or later.
