Impressive vintage pedestal form centerpiece bowl, in earthy sand and brown tones. The bowl is hand thrown, and features a combination of standard pottery glaze with a decorative element of molten glass, in the center of the bowl. This difficult technique is usually only seen in Italian, or German pieces, however we believe this item was produced as part of the Studio Pottery movement in the USA, circa 1970/80's. This example is in excellent, clean, ready to use condition, free of damage or repairs, it is unsigned.
This exceptional piece works with both modern, and more casual interior spaces, perfect at a centerpiece, and or as a stand alone decorative objet.
