This is a Great Looking and Quite Rare Authentic Antique English Staffordshire Pottery Figure. Circa Mid 19th Century. Larger in Size - Measuring Approx 9 Inches Tall x 9 inches Long x 3 3/4 Inches Wide. It is Rendered in a Fancy - Complicated 3 Dimensional - Figurative Design that Depicts a Well Dressed Woman ( Possibly a Young Queen Victoria ? ) Sitting - Riding on the Back of a St Bernard Dog. It has Elaborately Hand Decorated Features with an Assortment of Beautiful Color Combinations. The Base - Front is Highlighted with a 22K Gold Stripe. It is in All Original Condition and Displays Beautifully. It has a Few Minor Age and Use Related Imperfections that Include a Chip on the Top of The Girls Pink Hat, The Dogs Tongue has a Chip that was Repaired - Glued, Few Very Small Chips at the Base - Bottom Perimeter. There is some Wear to the Girls Black Hair and Some Crazing in the Pearlware Glaze Etc. but This is Typical & Quite Common with English Staffordshire Pottery Items from This Era.
