I adore pieces featuring animals, and this bowl feels very special. It bridges the gap between European and Asian design. You can see English hunting details with East Asian and Middle East decorative elements - note the deep, cobalt blue which you don't see often in Chinese pieces and the "medallion/gem-like" painted accents around the inner rim. Looks wonderful displayed.
