An assembled set of six Sarreguemines French faïence, majolica plates, each showing a different fruit on an ochre yellow ground of overlapping leaves, circa 1930s.
This group shows images of the apple, plum, pear, grapes, and two cherries. The shaped rims follow the leaf form. A classic and charming mold.
Glazed by hand, each plate varies in intensity of color.
Showing both impressed and printed marks: Sarreguimines.
