The delicate and finely detailed roses look like something out of a Victorian ballroom- ropes of greenery dripping with pink roses, in bud and bloom. The pink and light green are perfect for shabby chic or classical english decor. The gold rim is uniformly worn, giving it an aged look. If you like bright whites but want china for special occasions- or tuesdays with the girls- and have a budget and space issues give this a shot. If you go with plain white for everyday dishes all you need is room for a stack of plates that coordinate. This is a fresh, clean, clear white- no off whites about it. Which means there's no trying to match- simply lined restaurant white would work and work well. There's eight each of the 8.5" and 9.5" plates. See less
