The term "Fidus" refers to the artist Hugo Reinhold Karl Johann Höppener, known as Fidus, who was an influential German illustrator and painter.
From a young age, Fidus showed a keen interest in art, which led him to pursue formal training.
Education: He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden and later continued his studies in Munich, where he was influenced by the emerging Jugendstil movement.
He was an active participant in the Lebensreform movement, which sought to promote health, vegetarianism, nudism, and a return to nature. His art often reflected these ideals.
