Welcome to my Mid-century china- where everything is hop-in. I had to get the pun in! If you don't know what those are- those are the flowers ( or seed cones) of Humulus lupulus- the hops plant. THOSE- dear friends- are what MAKES BEER!!!
They are adorning a set of eight saucers made by W.S. George in the "bolero" edge with gold trim, all made here in the good old US of A.
What on earth would you do with saucers with no teacups? These would be the coasters I'd use while serving the choice collection of craft beers I would have laid out for my guests. You'll absolutely have the best conversation pieces in town! Don't want to eat off them? I couldn't fault anyone wanting to make them the focal point of their kitchen or dining room. I have other pieces of this design listed separately in my chairish store- you seriously need to go browse. Seriously. Because beer batter fish and chips, craft beers and a chocolate Guinness cake with hot fudge and fresh ice cream would be a fantastic meal!
