From the son of his mother's Estate, who was an Interior Designer, out of Wisconsin until such time of retirement to sunny South Florida. The chrome is in great condition, no pitting whatsoever, which has stood the test of time, duration of use normal and conducive, but very well preserved. The body of the seat, if one looks at the last image has a zipper whereupon, the body wraps around the upper portion of the chrome frame of the chair, and the strength from that and tension, as well as the foot end of the body is a perfect counter balance weight, and how the seat body stays in tact while sitting or getting up. We have sat in this as a trial to navigate explaining the look and feel and how the chair sits, sturdy solid construction with form aand function at it's best. The lounge chair that everyone would navigate to to sit in and not want to get up, it is that comfortable, where IF one would to look keenly are 2 larger round flat chrome foot stoppers of sorts, which prevents one from when they rock back and forth, there is no way the chair will come forward to fall frontwards...they thought of everything in this design. One person/Family owned piece and current.
