Lovely Vintage Capodimonte Italy Porcelain Cherub Story 4 3/8” Pitcher #1366/104. This Pitcher with a beautiful relief was made by the Italian porcelain manufacturer based in Naples. The Pitcher is handpainted with pinks, greens, blues, yellows, browns, reds, whites and blacks.
The scene shows eight cherubs frolicking in a walled garden marsh with flowers and foliage in the landscape.
The style is of the Renaissance Majolica pottery and with a gold gilt edge. The Capodimonte Hallmark is on the bottom of the pitcher.
The Pitcher is in excellent preloved condition with no major imperfections including chips, cracks or repairs.
The Pitcher measures 4 3/8” Tall x 4 1/4” Wide x 3 1/4” Deep. It weighs 6.21 ounces or 176 grams.
