Chair is very sturdy with no movements or loose connections and has an H stretcher bottom brace for added stability. It has a nice wide seat with leather insert and perfect height curved armrest that makes it extremely comfortable. A lot of work went into making this rocker as pleasing to look at as it is to rest in. Very nice and detailed pressed back design that you need to zoom in to see all the intricate details. Beautiful turned spindles on the back and armrest matching the chairs numerous curved features (seat, armrest, backrest, ect.). The quality tooled leather seat insert that is trimmed in hammered brass nailhead trim. Rocker has been well taken care of through the years and is in excellent condition. Very minor wear and imperfections to the woods surface finish. Leather is in extremely good condition for age, still soft and flexible making it very comfortable but with normal wear and imperfections to leather’s surface.
