Wonderful 18th century French horloge or tall case clock, c.1780-1800 with a Bonnffont A'Coutourre seven day movement, original enamel dial, and bronze rooster crest. Beautiful cherry case is in two parts with original pegged construction. Lovely hand carved detail on the raised paneled door and case. Original aged patina with a simple waxed finish. Restoration on base with age worming on wood. Original key, new pendulum. This clock is Absolutely Charming!
