A chic and versatile three panel wooden folding screen, with painted trompe l’oeil faux bois marquetry panels of tiger maple and bird's eye maple featuring large diamonds set between rectangular panels on each. The screen can be configured in a zig zag or curved back as a traditional dressing screen. Hinged hardware is copper finished and can fold in either direction. Painted a complementary buttery tan two tone on the back side. Late 20th century. Very good condition, light wear mainly to paint on the back side, irregularities to the finish as made.
