This dish is oval and created from ceramic. Both the lid and body are covered in a yellow corn texture and glazed a slightly darker orange for depth. It has two green ceramic handles, one on each side. The lid features a single corn husk with green leaves and a yellow cob which appears to be coming through the top This serving dish would be great for a number of things such as soup, casseroles, and mashed potatoes. It appears to have had at one time a ladle as there is an indention to the side where it would rest. The bottom is stamped with "Made in Portugal". Use this serving dish at your next dinner party, or display it on a shelf with your other collectible majolica pieces!
