About The Poster: This Italian engraving from the private collection of Giorgio Balbi depict a female figure among flowers with the words "E Dio creò l'Uomo", which means "And God created man". With her back turned and her arms raised in the direction of the sunlight, surrounded by lush vegetation, this scene is reminiscent of Eve in Eden.
