These stunning stools are designed with two cross … Read more Striking pair of Mid-Century X form upholstered benches, circa 1960s - 1970s. These stunning stools are designed with two cross supports adding to the strength of the heavy wood structure that exemplifies quality. Notice the nailhead trim outlining even the inside of the legs as well as the two cross supports, such details uncommon in furniture made today. Skillfully attached reupholstered cushions were threaded on without disturbing the upholstered frame or fabric, so the cushion can easily be removed to change the cushion to any fabric of your liking. These classic x-benches are heavy, sturdy and in great condition. Perfect for the foot of a queen or king size bed or under a parsons style table or in front of a fireplace without blocking the ambiance. Fabric is in really good condition except for a little wear shown in the close up picture on one side corner of one of the benches. See less
