Lovely Vintage Capodimonte Italy Cherub Story 5 3/8” Dish Bowl #1308. This Dish Bowl with a beautiful relief was made by the Italian porcelain manufacturer based in Naples. The Dish Bowl is handpainted with pinks, greens, yellows, browns, reds and blacks.
The scene shows two cherubs frolicking in a marsh with trees and foliage in the landscape.
The style is of the Renaissance Majolica pottery and with a gold gilt edge. The Capodimonte Hallmark is on the back of the dish.
The Dish Bowl is in excellent preloved condition with no major imperfections including chips, cracks or repairs.
