Bring a bit of nature into your home with this exquisite contemporary style bowl, designed by Michael Aram, it is a stunning addition to any home décor. The Thatch pieces are inspired by the random beauty of nature. . Each pieces is hand forged and welded, with no two are exactly alike. Crafted from high-quality metal and finished in a rich silver color (which I believe is nickelplate), this bowl is perfect for serving food or displaying decorative items. The unique thatch, twig or nest design of the bowl adds a unique and interesting touch to any room.
This bowl is about 8 1/2” diameter and about 3 ½” tall. Signature on the bottom of the bowl. I do not see any defect or damage. I believe Aram's Scattered Collection dates to around 2008.
From his website - “Michael is highly inspired by his surroundings and often makes sculptures of objects that might otherwise be overlooked in the everyday. Nature is his biggest muse, as is the handmade process."
